Whether you’re headed just for a short trip by car, flying to a different state, or traveling oversees, this will help pack all the essentials you might need and not to forget things. We have a trip on the horizon to Scotland for a family wedding in a few years. I’m already putting together ideas for what I want to do there and have talked with my husband about lengthening our trip to include a true vacation on our own afterwards and heading back to London. While we could fly, we can also save airfare and a room by taking Megabus overnight and getting a sleeping compartment. It’ll be cheap and possibly not the most comfortable, but they have WiFi and the bus leaves Scotland in the evening and arrives in London in the morning, so we’ll be up and ready to go when we stop. What I’m saying is creativity counts when planning. That idea may very well save us over $150 alone.
Go on a penny pinching kick. Do you need to buy anything this week that isn’t food-related? Start asking yourself if what you’re buying is a need or a want. Just doing this can help you start making better choices and spending less in general. Instead of buying that pair of shoes you are looking at, put that money aside for your travels. Even if it’s just something little like a magazine or lip gloss, immediately move that money over. You’ve spent it, but now you’ve invested it in your future trip.
Companies are beginning to get a handle on replying to customers, with nearly two-thirds of airline brands (64.1%) getting back to customers within 24 hours, ahead of hotels, airlines and car rental companies in that order. Hotels also performed well, with 81% of brands monitored responding in under week. However, when it came to driving potential customers towards a booking, both fared far less well. Just under half of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) half provided assistance for booking through a Messenger chatbot, compared to 18.8% of car rentals, 15.2% of hotels, and 8.7% of airlines.
Business travelers depend heavily on their carry-on bags. Nearly all road warriors own at least one rollaboard suitcase, but few are happy with the roll-on luggage they own. That’s why they will appreciate receiving a gift of a durable, well-designed rollaboard to replace their current carry-on suitcase.
Your gift recipients will be especially grateful to have a set of well designed packing cubes if their suitcases are opened by airport security, since their clothes will stay neatly folded and organized and they won’t need to re-fold and re-pack each item in the airport!
I started with the spray primer on all the fixed interior surfaces since I knew there would be over-spray that I could correct with the traditional paint-on primer afterwards. I used a gray Rustoleum Spray Primer for the cabinets and walls which would have a dark color finish and a white spray primer for the upper cabinets which would be finished in a natural white. The spray primer leaves a really nice smooth finish. I liked it so much I almost opted to keep the grey primer as my finish coat on the vinyl wallboard.
